Boy has Roxy ever been lucky!!! All of Richard’s and Rosemary’s dogs are lucky dogs. All of the dogs Richard and Rosemary have ever had were lucky dogs.
So far Roxy has been lucky at least three in her short life.
Roxy’s was once owned by a goat rancher in Western, OK where she was trained to guard and protect his goats. Once the goat owner sold his goats and retired from the job he had no need for dogs to guard goats. He He was going to shoot and kill Roxy. That is what they do, and it is legal to do as animals are considered property.
Roxy got lucky for her 1st time after word quickly got around about Roxy’s fate, and a kind lady who lived nearby came to rescue Roxy from that fate. Roxy was found to be a lovely, sweet, well behaved, and house trained dog. She was everything anyone could want in a Rottweiler; however, she was worthless to goat farmer without goats. The kind lady always knew that she could not keep Roxy, and she reached out to Ahimsa Rescue Foundation for help.
Roxy got lucky a 2nd time when Ahimsa Rescue Foundation was able to receive her into rescue. Roxy got spayed and all of her veterinarian needs completed and was put up for adoption. And it wasn’t long before Roxy got lucky for the 3rd time!
Yes Roxy got lucky a 3rd time when she was adopted to a most wonderful retired couple in Fort Smith, AR. Not only was this a most wonderful adopting family but a family with a soft spot for Rottweilers. If you ask me I believe they have a soft spot for any dog, cat or animal.
Roxy now lives in an amazing home where she is pampered 24/7 along with two other male dogs (Sammy and Bustah) who were also adopted from Ahimsa Rescue Foundation. I think this family lives to love and take care of these dogs. Not only are they loved and waited on hand and foot but they are even prepared fresh home made meals to compliment high quality dog kibble. These dogs HAVE IT MADE. I wish they could all have it even half as good.
Thank you for adopting rescued companions
Richard and Rosemary from Fort Smith, AR
