” Clifford’s just about synced up with the napping, eating, walking schedules the other dogs. No accidents but he did swipe the butter dish off the counter that we found hidden in the back yard…now that we know, we’ll be more careful. he is enjoying bed privileges. Gonna try for a puppy play date this weekend. He is a piece of cake to walk—solo and with another dog. He is a cool customer! We still haven’t heard Clifford bark, but we live in the vicinity of two big hospitals. We get lots of passing ambulances so he’s decided to sing (howl) along as they go by. Quite endearing that he still hears a deep seated call of the wild! The pecking order is very subtle not obvious, other than Clifford backing off whenever there’s an issue. The only dustups are usually traffic jams at the dog door. We’re careful with food and treats—and separate at meals. All the dogs know we’re fair, and we take turns as to who gets the first treat, or walk, etc…but the dogs including Clifford know they get a turn. He’s a keeper, for sure. Clifford has fit in as we knew he would. He seems pretty happy. He’s the start of our 4th generation of rescues. Anyway, he’s family now. Thanks again! Sam and Pam from Tulsa
