Ahimsa Rescue Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 2004.

Our mission is to place needy animals in responsible homes, provide humane education and encourage spaying and neutering because there are not enough homes.

Our goal is to reduce pet overpopulation and help end the needless suffering and death that homeless animals endure.

Each year, the foundation takes more than 150 animals into foster care and adopts them to carefully screened and approved homes. Families travel from across the country to adopt rescued pets from the Ahimsa Rescue Foundation.

Ahimsa Rescue Foundation's onsite low cost spay/neuter clinic helps to help reduce pet overpopulation. We are in an area with an overwhelming need for these services. For low and moderate income rural homes, spaying and neutering pets is generally out of reach. This places animals at risk for unnecessary suffering from multiple litters and eventual abandonment. Our modest fees make it possible for owners to spay/neuter their pets.

When unwanted litters are born, there is no winner.  Please join us to help animals by making your gift today.
